Our company, 'Gabri Ceramica' by Del Popolo Lampuri, was founded in 1961 by his father Emilio, a wood sculptor. It is currently run by his son Francesco and his wife Silvia. Inspired by the art of ceramics, the two handcraft lamps, amphorae, vases baskets and many other objects with embossed flowers, bunches of grapes and lemons. Lava stone tables are also produced in our workshop; we only use lava stone from Etna for their production and the decorated part is entirely handmade and then ceramised. These articles can be viewed in our on-line catalogue and at our premises in Via Pirandello no. 51. Purchased articles can be shipped to your home.

Our products are made of ceramicised Etna lava basalt. This material, which derives directly from lava stone, is nowadays processed with an avant-garde technique that allows it to be appreciated for the following characteristics: resistance to wear and atmospheric agents, stain-proof, acid-proof, frost-proof, shaping faculty, high impact resistance, breaking load, high heat, aesthetic value, wide decorative and chromatic range. The enamelling guarantees the hygiene of the material, which is thus perfectly suited for use in kitchens as well as in bars and restaurants. In addition, the fine and painstaking handcrafting combined with the possibility of customised decoration make each product unique.
